Thanks for the reply. Sorry to hear you don't have access to the Classic Billiards Game. I have Dish Network and the match is recorded on my DVR.

I am watching a recorded Pool Match as I type this comment. The match I'm watching is between Joe Balsis and Luther Lassiter.

I spent 5 hours practicing today. Sometimes practice with the cue ball really offers huge rewards.

I would have loved to see that match. I do not get the channel it would have been on, ESPNC because I am in dispute with my cable company at the present. They have to be he most arrogant company around.I'm waiting for Verizon FIOS to become available so I can switch. I spent two hours the other night practicing with only one ball on the table. It was the CB. I was practicing diamond shots from all different positions.
Last night it paid off, I made three out of 5 banks from awkward positions in a straight pool game on regulation table.
Take care, good luck and have fun.

Nice tip on the chalking your break cue. I found some chalk on eBay that is supposed to be made just for the phenolic tip. It works OK.

I now wear a glove because I practice so much my thumb and the 2 bridge fingers were getting dry and calloused from rubbing on the felt. The skin began to crack.

Ted: I see you are well spread out in the billiards field. I wish you all the luck in your ventures. I think my buying days are over. I have what I need and it does the job for me. That's all I can ask.

I already downloaded the 8 Ball Secrets, and I emailed Ryan that I felt it should have an index. Constructive crit. He agreed and it is in the process. I don't want (nor does anyone else)have to shift through 85 pages looking for something I want to reference. Also mentioned that 11 pics of the tip was overkill. Some of them looked like moon craters.
I am not shy about voicing an opinion if it is done in good taste and I feel it is needed.

Good morning,

Talking about CHALK....I have 3 members on my team and none of them carries their own chalk...They complain about the places that WE shoot not having any....my oh my for a few cents they can have their own, then borrow mine...You bring your cue, glove, or whatever else you use but can't bring chalk...I do use MASTERS, I have tried others but do like the MASTERS BRAND.

TIP: I use a phenolic tip on my break cue and have had problems with keeping it chalked. So here is what I do. I clean off the tip, then wet the tip with SPIT on my finger and then chalk. It stays on the tip quite well.

I remember when I tried the billiards glove thing years ago. It does remind you that you're playing pool.
