Billiards Supplies Tips and Info.

We looked for a cool Billiards Poster for the main wall, when I opened a small Pool Hall about 20 years back.

There is just something about having pictures and sayings relating to pool and billiards in your pool room. It ads that finishing touch and gives it the pool hall look and feel.

I did some research and scouting around for billiards posters and found quite a wide range of designs and prices. I found single posters selling for over $800.00. There were many in the $20 and below range as well.

The poster we had on the main wall of the pool hall was a giant cue ball with A giant cue tip striking it. The cue ball was about to car-em off of a smaller numbered ball and roll down the rail on the tangent line to pocket the nine ball. The poster was titled ride the 9. It was totally cool.

Because many of the customers in this pool hall were between 18 and 22 years old, a couple of wild nights destroyed the poster. looking back, I should have framed it. I was 21 years old myself and a bit on the wild side as well.

I just took a break from writing and did a Google search for ride the 9 poster. The poster came up in the top of the searches and this particular one was neon for the low low price of $210.oo.

If you don’t, give it some thought. You will be amazed with some of the cool art work out there pertaining to pool and billiards. I even found an 8 ball with a topless lady for a background. LOL Sometimes writing and researching billiards has it’s perks.

Get the color theme of your room in mind as you look around for some cool billiards art. Pick out colors that will blend in nicely and compliment the pool room. Learn from my experience and when you find a cool poster / print, take the extra time and invest in a frame. Protect the art work.
