I am writing this post from my room in the Riviera Hotel and Casino, home of the National 8 Ball Championships. I am playing in the team event this year and we have a match coming up in approximately 2 hours and 13 minutes.

Other years this blog has been more active in the Eight Ball tournament reporting. This year I decided to focus on playing while we are in the tourney and writing about the results after the fact.

This is a great time and anyone who loves the game would have to agree that this is exciting. (At least I would think so)

We (My team mates and Myself) watched a session of the pros the other night. We saw some great action. Alison Fisher, John Schmidt, Alan Hopkins, Kim Davenport and Tony Drago were there just to name a few. A couple of us have VIP tickets for the finals Saturday night.
